Kalam Valley is located in the District Swat along the Swat River in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. It is blessed with some astonishing and stunning places that attract tourists around the globe. It is surrounded by lush green hills, thick forests, mesmerizing lakes, and waterfalls. Swat River took birth from this place and the main tributaries for the Swat RIver are Gabral River and the Ushu River.

In Kalam, there are several hotels where tourists can reside and enjoy the cool breeze coming from River Swat. The temperature of Swat in July can reach up to 24 ℃ whereas in winters it can fall up to 1.5 ℃.
Swat has some beautiful Hill Stations including Usho, Utror, and Gabral. The Utror hill station is surrounded by snow-clad mountains and Kundol Lake. Gabral is known for the swati trout fish, medicinal springs, snow-clad peaks, lake, and green forests.

The lakes of Swat are very popular and a huge number of people visit these lakes every year. Mahodand Lake and Kundol Lake are the most popular and favorite lakes among people. These lakes are easily accessible with the panoramic views on the way. Mahodand lake can be traversed on a 4*4 Jeep and tourists can enjoy camping, boating, and fishing in the lake.
