1. Manthoka Waterfall

Manthoka waterfall is a waterfall in the extreme northern region of Pakistan. It is located near Madhupur, Skardu Gilgit Baltistan. It is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Pakistan. The lush green grassland, high mountains, and freshwater streams that go to the Indus make one feel fresh and refrain from your worries of the world.

It is a fabulous place for sightseeing and photography. The height of the Manthoka waterfall from the ground is 180 feet and tourists camp here, do hiking, fishing, and enjoy the charismatic views.

How to reach?

From Skardu City, you have to follow the Kargil-Skardu road. On Kargil-Skardu road following villages will come on your way: Hussainabad, Thorgo, Ghasing, Parkutta, and Manthoka.

In Manthokha village, a stream is running downstream and falls into the Indus River. There is a village Madhupur on the east side of this village and a road Manthoka-Madhupur road, that shall lead you towards your beautiful destination Manthoka Waterfall.

2. Pir Ghaib Waterfalls

The Pir Ghaib waterfalls in the Bolan Valley, Balochistan. If you are visiting Balochistan, you must pay a visit to this deserving waterfall. This waterfall comes down from rocky mountains and makes its way through many streams and ponds. Later it flows into a large pool. Locals tell you the story behind this lake that is very interesting.

How to reach?

To reach Pir Ghaib Waterfalls, you have to follow the selected route from Quetta city.

Reach Western Bypass -> Turn right on RCD Highway -> Turn left on Quetta-Jacobabad road -> Turn right on Jacobabad road -> Turn right on Pir Ghaib road and this road is going to take you to your final destination. Pir Ghaib Waterfalls are almost there.

3. Shingrai Waterfall

Swat is known as the Switzerland of Pakistan. It is a beautiful place with high mountains, a fast-flowing river, lakes, and other tourist attractions. Apart from all these sites, there is a Shingrai waterfall that attracts a huge crowd throughout the year. Shingrai waterfall is at the foothills of Dwarsay peaks and is in the north of Mingora.

The mesmerizing look of this site stuns the public and its roaring sound after falling gives a soothing touch to one’s ears. It has a depth of almost 70 feet. 

How to reach?

From Rawalpindi, go to the M1 Motorway and exit on Swat Expressway. Drive on Swat Expressway to the Chakdara Interchange and turn left to the Bahrain Road. Follow the Bahrain Road till Takhtband Bypass Road and turn on to it. Turn left onto Bahrain Road and again turn left to remain on Bahrain Road. 

Follow the Bahrain Rd to Mangalwar Rd and take a sharp left from Mangalwar Rd. Take a right turn after 180m, then a left turn after 250m and again a right turn after 600m. Follow the road for 850m and take a left turn. Then one sharp left after 550m and go on for another 1.6km and take right. After a journey of 3.1km, your destination will be on the left.

4. Sajikot Waterfall

Sajikot waterfall is in the Tehsil Havelian, Abbottabad District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It is the most popular tourist attraction in Abbottabad. It is also known as a twin waterfall and gives an astonishing view to tourists. Locals and tourists come here for a picnic and refreshment. 

While passing the Sajikot Nala, you will witness a three-step waterfall. A single waterfall goes into a pound and then is divided into two waterfalls. That’s why it is known as the twin waterfall.

Now, there’s a newly built road which allows the tourists to take their cars to the top of the waterfall. 

How to reach?

To reach Sajikot from Islamabad, first, you will reach Havelian. There is a road named Kiala road that will lead you to your destination. It will take about 3 hours to reach the Sajikot Bazaar and the waterfall is just 1.5 km ahead of the bazaar.

5. Gulpur Waterfalls

Gulpur waterfall is a gem in Azad Kashmir. It is located in the Kotli District and is tremendously beautiful. Gulpur is a small town in Kotli. The view of the Gulpur waterfall gives an astonishing and amusing view. It is surrounded by greenery and mountains which increases its beauty.

Gulpur waterfall is recommended to visit in summer. Here you will get reasonable dining and staying options and if you are with someone special, then surely this place is going to give you the best memories. 

How to reach?

To reach Gulpur Waterfall, one should take a bus or van from Pirwadhai to Kotli. The Gulpur Waterfall will come on the way so ask the driver to make sure to make a stop for you at Gulpur. Gulpur is about 15km behind Kotli city.

6. Neela Sandh Waterfall

The twin cities of Pakistan, Islamabad, and Rawalpindi have multiple tourist attractions destinations but Neela Sandh waterfall is something different. It is located in Mori Syedan, Rawalpindi, and is almost 50km away from Islamabad. The waterfall is surrounded by tall trees, lush green mountains, and above a clear blue sky.

This picnic spot is worth visiting as you can enjoy swimming over there in fresh and cold water. One thing you should take care of is to wear life jackets while swimming. It is very risky to swim without a life jacket. People of twin cities must give a visit to this breathtaking destination.

How to reach?

You can either book a car or van to reach Neela Sandh Picnic Point or go in your own vehicle. Here you will get the directions to reach your vehicle.

To reach Neela Sandh follow the Islamabad Expressway up to Khanna Interchange and go on to Lehtrar Road. Continue onto Lehtrar Road for about 30km and you will be at your destination.

7. Narar Waterfall

Narar waterfall is present in Tehsil Kahuta, District Rawalpindi, and is only 60 km far from Capital Territory, Islamabad. If you are exhausted from your busy life then pay a visit to this beautiful and peaceful Narar waterfall and enjoy your day.

How to reach?

If you want to visit Narar Waterfall from the twin cities, then first you will have to reach the Kahuta road. Continue on to Kahuta road till N-39. Move on to N-39 and take a slight left on Azad Pattan road. Turn left onto Mohri-Kahuta road from Azad Pattan road. 

To reach your destination, turn left onto Kahuta-Narar road and continue for another 7km. You will reach your destination.

8. Chamb Waterfall

About 200 kilometers away from Islamabad, a hidden gem is located in Chinari, Hattian Bala District and that gem is the cham waterfall. It is 300 meters in altitude and is one of the best tourist attractions in Azad Kashmir. Here you get two in one package because Chinari Village is also not less beautiful than the Chamb waterfall.

How to reach?

You will have to travel from Islamabad towards Azad Kashmir via Murree Expressway. After crossing the Kohala bridge you will enter Azad Kashmir. Then further move towards Kohala-Bagh road and reach China. From Chinari you will have to hire 4*4 local jeeps to reach Cham waterfall.

9. Farphu Waterfall

There are several hidden jewels in the Karakorum Mountains and Farphu waterfall is one of them. It is located in the lush green valley of Bagrote. It is one of the tallest waterfalls of Pakistan and is only accessible in the summer season as the Karakoram Highway is inaccessible in winters. How to reach?

If you are visiting Gilgit then to reach Farphu Waterfall is not a big deal. You can either book your own jeep or go on to the adventure on your personal vehicle. From Gilgit, you will have to reach Gilgit-Jalal Abad Road. Continue onto Gilgit-Jalal Abad Road take a left turn to Bagrote road. Follow the Bagrote Valley road for almost 16km and take a right turn. Go on for another 1km and you will be at your destination.

10. Chotok Waterfalls

Balochistan has hundreds of places that are yet to be explored. Chotok Waterfall is explored by only a few outsiders. It is located in Moola, District Khuzdar, Balochistan, and is one of the hidden gems of Balochistan. This waterfall flows between two hills and then into a stream of cool water.

How to reach?

People of Karachi usually visit Moola Chotok Waterfall so here you will get to the way of reaching Chotok Waterfall from Karachi.

First, you have to make your way towards M10 Motorway and turn onto National Highway 25. Follow National Highway 25 to Ratodero-Gwadar Motorway (M-8). Turn right on M-8 Motorway and continue your journey. Take a slight left to Moola road from M-8 Motorway and follow it for almost 86 kilometers to reach your destination.

11. Khadeji Waterfalls

About 60km far from Sindh, there is a place Khadeji and here you will see the oldest waterfalls of Sindh. Khadeji waterfall is almost 350 feet above sea level and has mountains around the waterfall. This place should be visited in the winter. If you get a chance to visit Karachi or Sindh, or you belong to Sindh, then you must pay a visit to this beautiful place.

How to reach?

Make your steps to M-9 Motorway and exit on DHA Interchange. Follow the below-mentioned routes to see your beautiful destination.

Take a sharp right at DHA Interchange -> Slight right -> Turn right and drive for 180m -> Turn left and go on for 260m -> Continue straight for 450m -> Turn right and drive for almost 2km to reach your place.

12. Nihalpura Waterfalls

Pakistan has a series of beautiful waterfalls and Nihalpura Waterfalls are one of them. These waterfalls are in District Nowshera, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It is a famous place for locals and tourists. This place is surrounded by rocks and greenery. You won’t forget the cool breeze coming from the trees here.

How to reach?

Start your journey from M-1 (Islamabad-Peshawar Motorway) from Rawalpindi. Take the exit from Jallo Burhan Toll Plaza toward GT road (National Highway 5). Continue onto GT road for almost 44 kilometers and take a left and driver for 400m. 

Take a left and go for 400m. Turn left at Nihal Pura and then take a slight left. After 250m again take a slight left. Go on for 300m and take a left turn. You will be at your destination after 150m.

13. Jamgar Waterfall

Neelum valley is bestowed with the breathless and enchanting beauty that one wants to see again and again. Many waterfalls of Pakistan are present in this marvelous valley. One of the places to visit in Neelum Valley is the Jamgar waterfall. Jamgar Waterfall is surrounded by thick jungle and hills. One who is visiting Azad Kashmir should also visit this waterfall as it is another beauty in the Neelum Valley.

How to reach?

Jamgar Waterfall is about 110 kilometers far from Azad Kashmir’s Capital, Muzaffarabad. Forgoing to this magnificent waterfall, one has to take a van from Muzaffarabad towards Athmuqam or Sharda. Ask your driver or conductor to make a stop for you at Jagran road.

After leaving the vehicle at Jagran road, your destination is about 16km. You can either look for public transport or book a taxi to reach Jamgar Waterfall.

14. Hanna-Urak Waterfall

In Quetta, Balochistan, there is an Urak Valley near Hanna Lake. The Urak Valley has a small enchanting waterfall that is known as Hanna-Urak Waterfall. It is the best recreational attraction for the people of Balochistan and one of the best and mesmerizing waterfalls in Pakistan.

Hanna-Urak Waterfall is not far from Quetta. To go there, go to the Quetta that’s leading to National Highway 65. Continue on Quetta road and take a left turn onto Hanna Urak Lake. Follow the road for about 5km and your destination is before you.

15. Dhani Waterfall

Dhani Noseri Waterfall is also known as Dhani Waterfall and is located in the District Muzaffarabad, Azad Kashmir. Neelum Valley’s Dhani Waterfall is one of the marvelous and beautiful waterfalls of Pakistan. It is almost 38 kilometers from the Muzaffarabad District and is the highest waterfall in the Neelum Valley. Its elevation is about 3583 feet.

How to reach?

To reach Dhani Waterfall from Rawalpindi, take a bus heading to Muzaffarabad form Pirwadhai. End your journey at Muzaffarabad and get on a van leading to Athmuqam or Sharda. Ask the driver to stop the van at Dhani Waterfall. Dhani is just alongside the road.

16. Umbrella Waterfall

Umbrella Waterfall is in Sajikot, Abbottabad, and is a new tourist attraction in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It is almost 27km far from Havelian. It is on the same road which leads to Sajikot Waterfall. It is a beautiful waterfall that captivates one’s eyes and people forget to blink. Some people say that it is the world’s most beautiful waterfall.

How to reach?

From Rawalpindi, reach M1 Motorway and turn to Hazara Expressway from Hazara Interchange. Follow the Hazara Expressway and turn left to National Highway 35. From Hazara Interchange, Umbrella Waterfall is almost 86 kilometers far. Go on to Hazara Expressway until Bypass road comes. Get on to Bypass road and turn left at Mehran Medicose onto Lunda Bazar Road. 

Name of Lunda Bazar road changes to Kiala road. Keep following Kiala road and you will reach Sajikot road. Now you have to follow the Sajikot road with care as it is dangerously curvy. Sajikot road’s name changes to Kalabagh-Nathia Gali road it will lead you to your destination.

17. Kutton Waterfall

About 97 kilometers from Muzaffarabad, Azad Kashmir, there is a tourist attraction place Kutton. It is accessible from Neelum road and from Kundal Shahi too. There is a waterfall surrounded by green trees named Kutton waterfall. Many tourists visit this waterfall and enjoy the cold water of the waterfall. There are accommodation places too where tourists can stay and enjoy the beautiful views of Kutton village. How to reach?

You can go to Kutton Waterfall either on public transport or in your private vehicle. Here we will tell you to reach Kutton on public transport from Rawalpindi.

Get a bus or van to Muzaffarabad from Pirwadhai. From Muzaffarabad, get on a van leading to Athmuqam or Kutton. If the van is going to Athmuqam, then you have to leave the van at Jagran road. Follow Jagran Road for another 5 kilometers and you will reach Kutton.

18. Jarogo Waterfall

Jarogo is a Pashto word that means bloom. Jarogo waterfall is located in Matta Tehsil, District Swat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and is almost unknown to everyone. It is about 30km away from Matta Tehsil. It has a thick forest around the waterfall and is surrounded by gigantic mountains. The mesmerizing flow of crystal clear water and the chirping of birds on the pine trees increases the beauty of this place.

If you want to reach Jarogo Waterfall from Lahore, then follow the route given below.

Head to M2 Motorway -> Follow the M1 Motorway (Islamabad-Peshawar Motorway) -> Turn to Swat Express Way -> Turn left from Chakdara Interchange to Bahrain Road -> Turn right to Shamozai Road -> Name of Shamozai road changes to Kabail road and then Airport Road -> Airport road name will change to Matta Road -> Turn to Gurrah Road -> Follow the Gurrah Road to Liaquat Ali Khan Bridge and turn left to Fazal Banda Road -> Fazal Banda Road changes its name to Jarogo Road and at the end of the road, there’s your destination.

19. Neela Wahn Waterfalls

Neela Wahn waterfalls is a place near Kalar Kahar. It is almost 21 kilometers from Kalar Kahar and is the best place for adventure-loving people and for hikers too. It has blue-colored ponds that captivate one’s attention and give peace of mind. The water here is fresh and extremely cold. Here you will get to see about 4 ponds that have their own beauty. The passage to reach there is tough but once you get there, all your tiredness vanishes and you get fresh and calm.

Neela Wahn Waterfalls can be accessed from Lahore on the M2 motorway. From Kalar Kahar Interchange, it is approximately 21 kilometers far. Turn to Khushab road from Kalar Kahar Interchange and drive for 20 kilometers and turn left to a road that is going to Neela Wahn Waterfalls.
