Chitral

Chitral, also spelled Chetrar, translated as field, is the capital of the Chitral District, situated on the western bank of the Chitral River (also called Kunar River), in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan.

It additionally served as the capital of the royal condition of Chitral until 1969. This Valley is at the height of 1128 meters (3,700 ft). It is full of stunning views all around. One can enjoy; mountaineering, rock climbing, trekking, hiking on plenty of places all around it. It is a place for explorers and those in search of peacetime. It is not just a valley with mountains and a river but also a historical city of the east.

One of the prominent attractions of this valley is the Kalash valleys-the home of the Kafir-Kalash. The Kalash individuals love music and moving especially on events of their religious celebrations like Joshi Chilimjusht (14th and 15th May – spring), Phool (20 – 25th September) and Chowas (18 to 21st December).
