It additionally served as the capital of the royal condition of Chitral until 1969. This Valley is at the height of 1128 meters (3,700 ft). It is full of stunning views all around. One of the prominent attractions of this valley is the Kalash valleys-the home of the Kafir-Kalash. The Kalash individuals love music and moving especially on events of their religious celebrations like Joshi Chilimjusht (14th and 15th May – spring), Phool (20 – 25th September) and Chowas (18 to 21st December).
